No Outpost overview screen. This is the most obvious fix. There is no way to see a full list of your Outposts and it makes quickly fast traveling between them tedious. Once you have several or more outposts for different resources, remembering which ones are where and what they produce becomes more and more unmanageable.
No production metrics at all. As far as I can tell there is no way to see what output rates are for extractors, what the input or output rates for the fabrication machines are, or any overview on resource production at all.
Unnecessary limits of outposts and supply links. I'm sure this boils down to engine limitations but if it it's for balance there are already easier and more obvious ways to break the economy with a single outpost. Limiting your supply link network and total number of outposts just makes scaling up a bigger headache to plan out especially when lacking the previously mentioned features. You can increase these a bit with skills but it feels like an arbitrary restriction.

Let me preface this by saying there's a lot about the game I am thoroughly enjoying, but the Outpost system desperately needs a second pass for tuning and QoL features to make it less of a slog. I've dumped a lot of skill points, resources, and time into it as it was one of the first things that grabbed my attention, and I kind of wish I steered clear and put skill points elsewhere.
